Comfy Flip Flops For Walking

Comfort has been my go-to during this time of a pandemic and black uprising.  Whether going on a casual walk in my neighborhood, sitting around with my son, or supporting black businesses, I have thrown on my new pair of Flip Critts.  Flip Critts are some of the best looking walking shoes.

Flip Critts, are cool, comfortable, kid-friendly shoe dreamed up by a kid. I wore these shoes to visit my father on Father’s Day.  My family is still practicing social distancing, so we are not going into one another’s home.  We stand outside and at a distance.  While standing on my parent’s front porch, as they peered out of the front door, my mom noticed my Critts.  She kept saying, “Those shoes are so cute!”   I think that is code for I want them.   She has a larger foot than me, so there was no way she was getting my Critts. As she complimented my shoes, I slid my foot out, so she could see the flip-flop inside.  I did not want to make her want them more, but I had to share how comfortable they are.  The inside of the shoe is soft.  I have a narrow foot and the shoe fits well around my foot.  I am not concerned about the support or lack thereof.  It does not feel like my foot is being swallowed by the shoe.

The first few times I wore these shoe, it was like my feet were confused.  I kept feeling like I was wearing a flip-flop and my toes did not seem relaxed.  It was like my toes were trying to make the stay on.  When I wore them over the weekend, I do not think I noticed my toes doing that.  They were very relaxed.

I love the comfort of these shoes, but I am most excited about these shoes because they were created by a child.  Carter created because while on vacation he kept having problems with his shoes.  His shoes would not stay on his feet and his toes were vulnerable to cuts and stubs.  He tried foam Clogs, but his feet blistered and were sweaty.  After two years, of designs, prototypes, and a lot of help from his family, Flip Critts were created.

Although Carter created these shoes with children in mind, I love that they come in adult sizes as well.  Just as Carter had issues with his shoes many adults do as well.   

I have received many components from adults while wearing them.  They are comfortable and fashionable.
