New Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends Giveaway
After waiting a couple of days to open my box of New Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends I received as a Purex Insider, I was greeted with the smell of sweetness.
I was not expecting such a wonderful smell. I am someone that does not eat a lot of cereal but does know the importance of eating breakfast. A couple of times a week I will find time to eat cereal for breakfast.
The first spoonful was a little surprising to me. I am a fan of Honey Bunches of Oats, but I did not expect such sweetness. I did not have any expectations, but when I ate the first spoonful I surprised by something. I am not sure if it was the sweetness or the fruit flavor of mango flakes combined with real coconut shavings and coconut flavored granola clusters. I then realized, subconsciously I may have expected the taste of the original Honey Bunches of Oats. After a second or two of adjusting, I was good to go. I actually like the New Tropical Blends. While eating, I had to look at the box. The first thing I always look for is how many calories per serving. I am sure I poured the right amount that would equal 120 calories. I am not a calorie counter, but my servings are usually small. Next, I always check to see how much iron, there is 9 essential vitamins and minerals including 60% daily value of iron. Surprisingly, there is 6 grams of sugar. You would never guess because the cereal is sweet and tasty. I am happy to say, I ate my cereal and was well satisfied.
