Visit Six Flags Magic Mountain Holiday in the Park
Every year, Six Flags Magic Mountain hosts Holiday in the Park. Beginning November 24 – January 1, 2022, the amusement park, is filled with holiday cheer.
If you arrive early in the day, you are greeted with sounds of holiday music playing throughout the park, along with sounds of visitors screeching with excitement of being in the park or on a thrilling ride.
One cannot help but be in the holiday spirit because Holiday in the Park is filled with a plethora of activities.
Riding the rides and eating during the day is always fun. Six Flags offers a taste of the holidays with a variety of festive feasts like leftover turkey mac n cheese sandwiches, enchilada soup, and traditional tamales. You can also satisfy your sweet tooth with holiday thrill shakes and brownies. If that is not enough, sip n savor the holiday flavors of champurrado or specialty drinks like Frosty;s Elixir. Our favorite was the hot chocolate.
If you do want to sample all of the holiday meals and treats, you can purchase a 2022 Taste of Holiday in the Park Tasting Pass. We feasted on a variety of limited-time-only, holiday inspired food and drink offerings. From soups to desserts and everything in between Six Flags has dozens of tasty treats and seasonal drink choices to fill you up this holiday season! Your Taste of Holiday in the Park Tasting Pass includes a souvenir mug and a punch card valid for up to six specialty food or drink items.
In addition to sample the holiday treats, we always looked forward to making S’mores at one of the fire pits. Complete strangers roast marshmallows together, kindly making space for one another, all the while sharing light conversation with strangers, family or friends. After their s’mores are cooked to their liking, each person went on their merry way. Some saying, Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas.
As the temperatures drop, it is nice to keep warm. If you are not standing by the fire pit roasting a marshmallow, you can always grab a cup of hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is delicious. It is not watered down. The collectable 2022 mug comes filled with creamy deliciousness, the will last a while to keep you warm. It was just what we needed for the cold winter’s night. Not only that, refills are$1.99 each on return visits through the end of the year.
When night falls, the park is transformed with amazing lights and activities. It is like a winter wonderland of millions of twinkling, Christmas and Hanukkah lights, throughout the park. Seeing the lights, enhanced the sound of the holiday music. We did not want the day/night to end.
We spent the day, riding as many rides as possible, eating until our hearts were content, enjoying one another’s company, the holiday lights and music. Once again, Holiday in the Park added another great memory to our family holiday memories.
