Illamasqua Makeup – Best New Makeup

It is rare for me to venture out from using my favorite beauty products.   A few months ago, I tried Illamasqua eyeshadow and loved how long-lasting it was.   Since then I have been using additional products from this makeup line.

Illamsqua Products I Ordered:

After applying foundation and concealer by other brands, I then apply all of my Illamasqua products.  I have not tried their foundation and concealer, but plan to do so. I need to find colors that match my skin tone. 

I typically wear a natural look.  I think I wear this look because I do not know how to apply makeup any other way.  I did not start wearing makeup until I was in my mid 30’s and it was pretty basic.  Before then, I only wore eyeliner and lipstick.  As I approach 50 in the next few months and am beginning to wear more makeup, I think I would like to learn more about wearing makeup.  I am off to a good start with Illamasqua.

I have been pleased with the entire Illamsqua beauty line.  In a previous post, I mentioned how much I love their eyeshadow.  That is still true.  I have now fallen head over hills for powder blusher.  These two items are my favorites so far.

I have noticed that lip glaze is making a comeback.  I had to order that as well.   I like it, but it does not stay on as long as I would like.  Otherwise, I have not had any issues with any of Illamasqua’s products not being long-lasting.

On the days that I wear a mask and I have on makeup, I wear Ben Nye Final Seal. My daughter told me about this long-lasting setting spray. I have been spraying it on my face after applying my makeup.  It makes my Illamasuqua pop even more and it looks fresh when I remove my mask from my face.
