San Pedro Fish Grill

I had my mind set on eating fish and chips while dining at San Pedro Fish Market Grille in Rolling Hills Estates. Rolling Hills Estates newest local fish restaurants.   This was a cheat day and I had committed to not cheating too much.  San Pedro Fish Market Grille – Rolling Hills Estates Local Fish Restaurants has delicious seafood.

My plan was to taste whatever my son ordered. They typically order heavier foods.

I just knew my daughter would order the shrimp tray.   She loves shrimp!  This is definitely a dish she would order. It consists of shrimp, fajita, veggies, potatoes, and garlic bread.  To my surprise, she ordered grill Mahi Mahi, Brussels sprouts, and garlic bread.  Oh wait, I cannot forget she ordered wine also.  I could not believe she ordered this. My plans for tasting anything she ordered went out of the window.

As we waited for our food to be prepared, she began to question why she did not order the shrimp tray.  We were both wondering why she did that.  By that time it was too late to change her order.

The signage about the shrimp tray being world-famous does not lie.  As we looked around, it seemed like everyone was ordering the shrimp tray.  We could not help but ask people how did it taste.  They all told us it was absolutely delicious.  Although she had not ordered the shrimp tray, my daughter was fine with the meal she ordered.

My son ordered fish and chips as well.  The only difference was, his fish was red snapper.

Thinking back on it, I cannot believe we came to San Pedro Fish Market Grille and pretty much ordered different variations of the same meal.  My son and I even ordered a side dish of the sweet glazed Brussels sprouts, that we shared.  When I thought we were done with our meal, he was still eating the last few sprouts that were left on our plate.  He liked them so much, he was spreading them around in the glaze at the bottom of the plate.

I guess it did not matter that I did not get to sample anything different.  We all dined on some of the freshest seafood available.  This fish grill restaurant offers high-quality California fish that is delivered fresh from their market daily.  I was told that is hand-cut daily.  I do not think you can go wrong with fresh fish.

Aside from the fish being fresh, it is not overly seasoned.  I have dined at some seafood restaurants and the spices and seasoning is very overpowering.

My family enjoyed our dining experience at San Pedro Fish Market.  The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious!
