Every season, I along with my family and friends enjoy the different foods of each season.    This Summer we have tried new foods with GourmetGiftBaskets.com.

GourmetGiftBaskets.com has a great selection of foodie gifts to enhance summer fun or to treat hosts or hostesses throwing neighborhood pool parties or other celebrations.

This Summer I have really tried to prepare new and different things while entertaining.

While I am preparing meals, entertaining or just lounging around my family and friends have enjoyed snaking on treats from the Classic Candy Gift Crate .   With a variety of tangy wild strawberry gummies, classic peach rings, bright gummy fish, and chewy cherry coins there is an irresistible treat for everyone.

Aside from snacking on the candy, I have also placed roasted and salted peanuts by J&R Gourmet and Chichester Snack Mix by Merrimack Valley Snack Company that is included in the BBQ Boss Gift Basket.

I like to grill during the Summer and try new recipes but, I sometimes find myself at a loss.  The BBQ Boss Gift Basket opened me up to new things to BBQ with.   Last week I made BBQ chicken breasts with Touch O’ Heat BBQ Sauce by Rufus Teague .  I did not have to add anything to it. It taste good right out of the bottle.  Just today, I made my son some turkey dogs and he asked me to add Touch O’ Heat to his hot dogs.

I have been on a roll.  I have never used any type of rub before.   I made turkey burgers for my family.  This time I seasoned them with Beef & Burger Rub by Urban Accents.  We loved it.  The packet comes with plenty of seasoning and it can go a long way.  It does not take a lot to season your burgers.

The basket also includes Spicy Peri Peri Lemon & Lemon Veggie Roaster by Urban Accents and Sriracha Terriyaki Sauce by Stonewall Kitchen.  I have not grilled with those yet but, I am willing to bet they will taste delicious also.
