Freedom Friday – If You Could Live In Movie Which Movie Would It Be?
Have you watched a movie that is good that you want to just be apart of it? The other day a friend asked the question, “If you could live in a movie which movie would it be?”
I shared this with my son and daughter. As they gave out their answers I thought of several movies I would love to live in for a month or maybe for the rest of my life. Here are a couple of my favorites:
- Eat Pray Love
- Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
- Grease
- The Note Book
- The Big Chill
My son was insisting that he would like to live in his favorite movie, Hairspray (the remake with John Travolta). My daughter insisted that he would not want to be stuck in that movie because, he is black and it is set during the civil rights movement.
After that we sat going through movies for a while dissecting the ones that we thought we’d love to live in but, discovering reasons why it would not be a good idea.
This week we watched The Goldbergs and Barry and Adam Goldberg were trying to live out Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Things did not go as planned for them but, it was definitely a good idea. The show ended with Adam stating, he wished he could be apart of the fantasy. I guess that is what we all searching for, we want to be apart of the fantasy.
