I have not used a mud mask in  a while and was actually trying different face mask treatment when I received my sample of Adovia.

I instantly liked it upon application.  As I simply applied a small amount to my skin, it smelled fresh and was easy to apply.  With the perfect consistency, this bottle will last a while. Within minutes of putting on my face, it began to feel firm. This facial skincare treatment is firming, but not uncomfortable.  It does not get too hard. The first time I used it, forgot I had it on. When I looked in the mirror I was startled, by the dark grey/granite coloring on my face.  The smell was refreshing.  I have not been able to figure out what the scent is, I think it smells minty, fresh. I did keep the mask on longer than suggested, because it seems like I am always doing something.  I keep it on for about 20 minutes.  After using Adovia for three weeks I am pleased. There is not a drastic difference with my skin.  I say this because, I do consider my skin to be normal and I have taken good care of my it over the years and am using Adovia to keep my looking youthful.
