Free And For Me

The Single Moms Club, written and directed by Tyler Perry will be in theaters, March 14, 2014 and I am looking forward to seeing it.  I cannot imagine how many moms in general will be running to see this film, aside from single moms.

It will be interesting to see what happens when five struggling single moms put aside their differences to form a support group.   I cannot wait to follow their journey as they find inspiration and laughter in their new sisterhood and help each other overcome the obstacles that stand in their way.

As a mother I have developed some friendships through my children, may it be at school, camp or extra curricular activities, but we have never thought to form a club.  I have not seen this film yet, but after watching the trailer, I wish I could be apart of this club.

The Single Moms club is about single moms that are brought together by an incident at their children’s school, a group of single mothers from different walks of life bond, and create a support group that helps them find comedy in the obstacles of life.

The cast includes:  Nia Long (May), Amy Smart (Hillary), Cocoa Brown (Lytia), Terry Crews (Branson), Zulay Henao (Esperanza), William Levy (Manny), Wendy McLendon-Covey (Jan) and Tyler Perry (T.K.)

Again, I cannot wait to see this film!!!

Although, I have not seen the movie yet, yesterday I was pleasantly surprised when I received a Single Moms Club survival kit on behalf of the film.  How did they know I needed this?  The kit included a nice bag, tumbler that looks like a wine glass is inside, nail file, wipes, a tee shirt and chocolate.
