Knott’s Camp Spooky Family Event
A while ago I said I my family were going to attend the Knott’s Camp Spooky Family Event. We did and had a great time! I did not tell my son we were going, so this was a surprise for him.
To start our day, we were provided a continental breakfast at Grizzly Creek Lodge. This was perfect for me because, like many people I like going to Knott’s to eat. I did not over eat, I just tasted a few things, just the right amount to get me started for what Knott’s had in store for us.
There was not much time to eat when I had an excited eight year old. He was ready to partake in the festivities. With so much to choose from he did not know what to do first:
- Ride some of the rides.
- Go to the Creepy Crawler Cave
- Spookie Scavenger Hunt
- Trick or Treating in five Halloween treat stations
- Scary stories at the Lodge
- Charlie Brown’s Spooktacular Show
- Snoopy’s Costume Party
- Kooky Cookie Painting in Grizzly Creek Lodge
The children were so adorable in there costumes. It was so cute to see them in the Halloween spirit early in the month. There were quit a few children dressed up.
I like that Knott’s has Camp Spooky and is gaining so much popularity. I live an hour away and any time Knott’s has an event I do not mind making the drive, because I know it will be worth the drive. Knott’s definitely gets us into the holiday spirit, no matter what the holiday is. I give Camp Spook at Knott’s a “10”.
