Free And For Me

Giving you the latest and hottest in entertainment, travel, food and much more!!!

While my daughter was growing up, she and I were very cautious about her using the web.  I consider myself rather lucky to have a child that tried to be a responsible web user.  Now she is a sophomore in college she is still concerned about the web.   I wonder if  The More You Know Learning Series were available back then how she would feel about using the web now.  Although, she is practically an adult I will not be using the ebook with her, this will definitely benefit me with my eight year old son.

The More You Know Learning Series, in collaboration with NBC News, has launched Growing Up Online, the FREE eBook for parents to keep their kids safe on the Internet!
Our kids have never known a world without the Internet. They’re spending more and more time on the web, so teaching them about using technology responsibly and safely is critical. Use the #GrowingUpOnline Blog App and take the quiz to see if your child is ready to safely surf the web!
Download the FREE Growing Up Online eBook and be sure to watch all four entertaining comic book stories as a family, which show real situations that may occur when your kids go online.
This free eBook provides easy-to-use information that addresses the growing concern about kids’ online privacy and cyber bullying in a unique and engaging way. Growing Up Online is packed with important tips that every parent should know!

  1. My son is still very young to surf the net. He does watch YouTube videos and I'm often next to him when he does, to preempt picking inappropriate videos.

  2. My kids are still very young but I use strict parental controls so they can only go to a few select sites.
