Free And For Me

Johnny Rocket’s knows how to throw a party!  Last Saturday we attended a Shake Month Event and the original Johnny Rocket’s on Melrose.

I do not know where to begin, because we enjoyed everything.   We were greeted with shakes and food.  The perfect way to start a party.  I call this a party, because there was food, dancing, prizes and entertainment.

We sampled the Oreo shake ( my family’s favorite), banana shake, veggie burger, turkey burger, hamburger, chicken sandwich, fries, onion rings and a beverage of our choice. I may have missed something.   My son tried the Chocolate Coke. I had the Cherry Coke.  I do not know what Ari had.  There was so much to do,  I could not keep up with what we were all doing.  But, I do know everything was good!

I really enjoyed watching the Johnny Rockets staff perform the Johnny Rockets dance.  I really got a kick out of watching my children learn the dance as well.   I did not go up there.  Someone needed to capture the moment.

We knew that Johnny Rockets is coming out with the Fall Candy Shake, made with M&M Milk Chocolate Candies.   While we were sampling the shakes, we were hoping we would get to sample the new shake.  We received lessons in Shakeology we were given the opportunity to see how Johnny Rockets shakes are made.  During our lesson the M&M Milk Chocolate Shake was the shake that was being made.  Oh my goodness.  I stood in the front while it was being prepared.  I wanted that shake.  I was so happy to hear that samples would be coming around.  I did not want to wait until it comes out on, September 16th.  Yes, we were able to sample it before anyone else.  Like everything else at Johnny Rockets, it was good!!!!

Besides all of the food.  There were activities for the children.  My son participated in everything.  He had a blast.  There was also a prize to the blogger that tweeted the most about the event.  Guess who one of the winners was.  ME!!!  I was surprised, because I do not tweet often and I have a new phone and I have not mastered tweeting from it. So I really surprised.  I was the tweeting queen.  I enjoyed tweeting the happenings of the event.  I won a Johnny Rockets bag filled with goodies.

We are looking forward to the M&M shake coming out on September 16th, but we just may head over to our local Johnny Rockets before then.  We have two within driving distance.  After this event we have been craving Johnny Rockets.
