The day after Thanksgiving my parents will begin decorating their home for the holidays. This year they will be accenting their home with The Mood Factory, Mood Lighting.

“Mood-lites represent Mood-Factory’s first line of products which are based on the sense of sight, and specifically, in regards to how colors affect how we feel,” said the Chicago-based Kathryn Goetzke, President, Mood-Factory. “We initially launched an incandescent line in 2004, and in 2012 launched a 2nd generation including flood, porch, and compact fluorescent (CFL) Mood-lites. The colors were developed using a number of color expert research, and applying their general concepts to lighting.”
I was surprised to see how bright the light shines. I agree that colors affect how we feel. I passed my Renewal light on to my parents, because I am not sure if Renewal and Passion are the mood colors for me, but my parents think they are great. I think colors like Serenity and Tranquility may be my colors. I do plan on using my Passion Light outside, because after seeing how bright the Renewal light shined, I thought I would share my Passion light with my neighbors. I just may make the switch to liking red lighting. Hey, these are mood lites, so I may feel an unexpected change of opinion if the mood is right.
The holidays are a time to be happy, so why not share some happiness by giving Mood Lites as holiday gifts. I did and clearly my parents are looking forward to using their Mood Lite.
