I am on the Sprint level and feel like I have accomplished something, but I would like to try new Spartan Races. I have to admit I have been procrastinating. After learning about the new Spartan passes there is no reason for me to advance outside of being lazy.
Spartan now offers three different kinds for 2017; an Elite pass, an Open pass and a Trifecta pass. This is awesome! I am sure many Spartans are excited about the new passes. From what I hear they are expected to sell out quickly.

- Guaranteed Entry to all events (not guaranteed heat)

- Valid on all Continental US & Hawaii Events
- Valid for ALL heats (Elite, Comp. & Open)
Open Pass
- Unlimited Racing during the Calendar Year (2017)
- Free Spectator Pass
- Free Bag Check
- Guaranteed Entry to all events (not guaranteed heat)
- Multi-Lap Discount
- Valid on all Continental US & Hawaii Events
- Valid for OPEN Heats ONLY
- Upcharge for Elite (+$30) and Competitive (+$15)
Trifecta Pass
- 3 race codes, valid for calendar year (2017)
- 1 Spectator Pass (to be used with Race Code)
- Free Bag Check
- Valid for all heats (including Elite & Comp.)
- Valid for Continental US
- Race codes aimed at Sprint/Super/Beast, but can be used for ANY 3 events
Not only is Spartan Race offering new passes in the 2017 stadium races (there are 8) there will be new medals and lots of new obstacles. This is exciting because I know how hard Spartans train for these races and of course I know how much they love their medals.
