There is a new style, widely anticipated farmers market coming to Woodland Hills, on Saturday, December 30, 2023, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, called Our Story Is Presents “At the Market”.  

Our Story Is hosts a FREE farmers market called, Our Story Is Presents “At the Market”, quarterly. All RSVPd market goers receive 100% organic and fresh produce, straight from the farm. It is part of Our Story Is’ mission to maintain an integral environment, therefore every booth has a “transactional” component, without any monetary transaction. This allows market goers to pick their own produce and place their own orders. Our Story Is has been featured in ABC7, AM870, Voice of America, and numerous media outlets. .

Hot and cold foods will be sponsored by food and beverage companies, such as, Western Bagel Encino and Woodland Hills, Topo Chico, and Ubatuba Acai Woodland Hills.

Entertainment will be provided by local DJ, KG Superstar.

Our Story Is welcomes donations, volunteers, and market goers.

About Our Story Is

“Our Story Is” is helping fill in the stop gap between the wealthy and impoverished, with a mission to fill in the gaps before people hit poverty level. With poverty increasing by nearly 60% in the San Fernando Valley alone from 2020 to 2022, this illustrates the urgency of aid needed for those right before they become impoverished. In a climate of inflation, many are faced with the tough choice whether to purchase groceries for the week, get gas for the week, or pay their rent. 

In order to combat this, once a month “Our Story Is” will host a FREE farmers market geared towards individuals experiencing hardship called OSI Presents “At the Market”. Uniquely, not only serving the homeless and impoverished, but all individuals who have fallen on hard times. This farmers market will provide the highest quality fresh and/or organic produce, healthy food, entertainment, as well as 90% biodegradable/eco-friendly products.

At Our Story Is, there is a strong understanding that no one is exempt, and it could be any one of us. “WE AIM TO GIVE TO OTHERS AS IF THEIR STORY COULD BE OUR STORY.”
