Where To Buy Reading Glasses Online – Readers.com Giveaway
Who knew reading glasses could be so cool? I have always associated reading glasses with the elderly, not fashionable or glasses people got at the drug store. I never understood them.
Readers.com has given me some insight on reading glasses.
Reading glasses are not only for the elderly, they are fashionable and they can be purchased in places other than the drug store. You can order these glasses online.
Readers.com has a wide selection of reading glasses to choose from:
- Male Reading Glasses
- Women’s Reading Glasses
- Bifocals
- Non-Bifocals
- Reading Sunglasses
- Premium Readers
When I heard about Readers.com I immediately thought of my parents. I was sure they would like some new reading glasses.
For the past few years I have seen my parents (who are not elderly) wear reading glasses. I have seen them swap reading glasses. I have watched them wear their prescription glasses while doing something and then switch to a pair of reading glasses to do something else. This all seemed so ridiculous. Why would anyone want to do that or have to?
Either way I was happy that I would be adding some new accessories to their wardrobe and helping them see better while reading.
When I called them and asked if they would like new reading glasses they immediately said yes. I sat on the phone in my home at my laptop while they looked over the site making there selections from their laptop.
The ordering process is very simple. After selecting the glasses they each wanted all we needed to do was select the POWER of their glasses. That is when the light bulb sort of went off in my head. The ‘power’ was close to their prescription glasses.
My mother wears bifocals. She ordered all bifocals and was set on getting all sunglasses. I wondered if she would want a clear pair for the times she needs to read indoors. What did I know? I did not ask. I am just learning all about reading glasses.
My father ordered a mix of sunglasses and clear glasses. Readers.com had glasses that fit his style. It was not hard to order for him.
After placing the order the glasses arrived either the next day or the day after. Delivery was quick. When I called my parents to tell them their glasses had arrived they were shocked.
They have been wearing their new reading glasses everyday. My mom says they wear them while taking walks. She also said, ” I really like my sunglasses, but I do not know why I only ordered sunglasses. I should have ordered a clear pair.” All I could do was laugh.
My father on the other hand is all set and not questioning his decisions.
Placing their order opened my eyes to he world of reading glasses. I have worn prescription glasses for 40 years and according to the optometrist my prescription has not changed much. I have disagreed because for the past couple of years I have not been able to see fine print. I recently concluded that I need a magnifying glass for those moments my kids are not around to read it for me. A few days after I placed my parents order it hit me. I began to understand why people need reading glasses.
I think I should have ordered a pair of reading glasses for myself. Readers.com not only has a great selection of glasses, but they have top tips for improving eye health for nearly every decade in your life.
On the premium end, I would like the Atwood by felix + iris and the GUNNAR PHENOM Computer Reader. For simpler, cheaper options, I would choose The Sunset and The Bishop.
