Carnival at the Pier Event Raised $105,000 for Child Abuse Prevention.
We were more than honored to attend Carnival at the Pier at Park Pacific at the Santa Monica Pier, hosted by the Children’s Bureau.
I excited to learn the Carnival at the Pier event raised $105,000 for child abuse prevention.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Children’s Bureau’s work to prevent child abuse.
We had loads of fun riding rides, playing games and eating cotton candy, burgers and pizza. My son won lots of stuffed animals and we got a kick out of the photo booth.
This was a moving experience for my two children. They both are compassionate and loving. When I told my daughter the purpose of the event she was very touched and was excited to attend. While she in college she works with children and comes highly recommended because of her love for them. As for my son, attending this event opened a discussion that we never had. It was difficult to watch the sadness come upon his face, but he immediately felt better when he put it all together that the Children’s Bureau is there for children in need.
This is definitely an event you did not want to miss.
If you missed it this year look make sure you attend next year. You can have fun while making a contribution to a great cause.
