SPF For Clothes – Coolibar
Are you doing anything to prevent skin cancer while you are at the pool?
Like many people I go to the pool wearing a sun dress or sarong, with my bathing suit underneath. After I take all of those clothes, I apply sunscreen and I am thinking that is good. I do not know why I do this, because I have purchased a few pieces of sun protective clothing for my son. You would think I would try and protect my skin as well.
This past Saturday, was my first day at the pool. We have hit triple digits and I could not wait to wear my Coolibar, Zno poolside hoodie. When I put it on and looked in the mirror, I thought, “This is cute!!!” My daughter and my friend confirmed it when they saw me in it. After they said it was cute, I did not want to take it off.
Yes, it was 102 degrees and I was rockin my poolside hoodie. It is very light weight and the sleeves are nice and long. It fits great!!! I did not feel hot nor was I uncomfortable.

My family spends countless hours in the sun. We are always swimming, hiking, walking or running. My son is active in sports, so he needs to be protected more often. We always apply sun screen to protect our skin, but that is not enough. We know we are putting ourselves at higher risk for skin cancer, but we need to wear sun protective clothing.
Not only am I confident that my skin is being protected I am stylish as well.
How are you protecting yourself from the sun?
