Little Boy Opens in Theaters Nationwide April 24th
Last night my family attended the screening for Little Boy. Little Boy opens nationwide on April 24th you do not want to miss seeing this film.
LITTLE BOY is a powerful and moving film about Pepper Busbee, a little boy who is willing to do whatever it takes to bring his dad home from World War II alive. The heartwarming story reveals the indescribable love a little boy has for his father and the love a father has for his son. Set in the 1940s, LITTLE BOY is an instant cinematic classic that captures the wonder of life through the eyes of a 8-year-old boy highlighting themes of faith, hope and love in the face of adversity.
This is such a powerful Word based film that speaks of having faith and believing in God.
Pepper a sweet little boy has had to always deal with being small his entire life. He has an amazing dad that teaches him to hold his head up high. Peppers dad is a constant in his life and his best friend. When his father is sent off to fight in the War, Pepper is forced to deal with being bullied. He is exposed to racism. He begins to understand the true meaning of friendship, love and kindness. Most importantly, he understands what it means to have faith and to believe.
As Pepper is exposed to the ways of the world his faith reveals that he is bigger than he could have ever imagined. By the time the movie ends he definitely not seen as just Little Boy.
Watching Pepper’s journey seemed to bring everyone to tears in the screening. There was quit a bit of sniffles and tear wiping. I tease my daughter about crying while watching films. This time she was not alone. The tears where not tears of sadness it was a combination of happiness, understanding, relief and maybe I can call it a form of rejoicing.
After the movie we made our way to our cars. I found myself standing in the parking lot speaking to complete strangers that had sat in the screening room we stood talking about how moving this film was. There was a consensus, ‘We all liked it.”
