Free And For Me

For about a year now, I have wanted a 100 Good Deeds Bracelet and now I finally have one.  And yes, I plan on doing many good deeds throughout the year.

I am joining the 100 Good Deeds Organization in setting a resolution to do a good deed a day!

Recently, I have shared my families views on the importance of giving or some of the good deeds my children have done.  Now, I am looking forward to anonymously performing good deeds by adjusting my bracelet every time I do something good.   I will not be sharing my good deeds, but you can trust, that I will be doing my 100 good deeds.

Having this bracelet, brings a since of happiness and awareness of being kind to others.  It can be anything from donating food, clothes, money or holding the door open for someone.  You will not believe how many opportunities we have throughout a day to do a good deed.  I am made aware of my actions.

My bracelet is a constant reminder that I can do something good in the world.   I am reminded constantly, because I wear my bracelet with everything.  It is definitely fashionable.  It, practically goes with anything.  It looks good and makes me feel good.

After I have completed my first 100 good deeds, I am going to start all over again.  This is definitely something I would like to be a constant in my life.  I am always searching for happiness.  This is one thing that I know makes me happy.  Why not bless someone while I am being blessed?

The bracelets are designed by Mary Fisher, author artists and AIDS advocate.  The 100 Good Deeds is both a fashion statement and a cause.  This non-profit provides economic and educational opportunities to women and girls across Africa and elsewhere.  Proceeds from 1GD bracelets are reinvested in the program to provide more woman and girls with more training in more countries.

Knowing that this is for a good cause, I will be purchasing bracelets for my family as well.
