Stonefire Grill New Menu Items @stonefiregrill
My daughter and I went overboard sampling some of the new menu items at Stonefire Grill, West Hills. Oh my goodness! I had every intention of eating light, because you can do that at Stonefire, but I ate a lot of everything. Yes, I did. My daughter overate as well. We do not do this often. We will blame it on the delicious food Stonefire prepares for their guests.
Our sampling began with whole shrimp, prepared with fresh lemon, olive oil, garlic, chili flakes, and parsley, served with quinoa. I absolutely love quinoa, I have always loved Stonefire’s quinoa. I do not usually eat shrimp, but for some reason I ate this shrimp, it was delicious. My daughter on the other hand could have eaten every shrimp Stonefire had. She loved it!
My love fest for Stonefire grew as each dish was brought out. When a platter of sandwiches were presented, I had no idea my palate was going to go crazy for the turkey salad sandwich. I was more than surprised. At that point I only wanted to eat that sandwich . But, I knew I had to try the other items as well.
Although, I was in love with the turkey salad sandwich I sampled other items also, but that sandwich was definitely on my mind. We sampled some of the salads and I am a big fan of Stonefire salads. You cannot go wrong with any of the salads.
While sampling the salads, I noticed my daughter was extremely quiet. She was sampling the roasted cauliflower pita. She has never liked cauliflower, but on this day she could not get enough of it. She says the only time she will eat it, is if she orders a roasted cauliflower pita from Stonefire Grill.
We sampled many items, but I was most impressed that Stonefire Grill consists of family members taking part in everyday business. Justin Lopez director of marketing shared the benefits of eating healthy and his family’s desire to share this with their guests.. I was almost floored when he told us his brother was in the kitchen preparing our food.
Stonefire Grill is not like many family, owned restaurants. Clearly they have grown, but the family continues to roll up their sleeves and prepare food with love.
They definitely prepare their food with lots of love, I am still thinking about the turkey salad sandwich. Stonefire Grill will see more of me and my family.
You have to have to visit Stonefire Grill and try anything on the menu. I can guarantee to you will love it. My daughter and I are now eating foods we normally do not like.
