Yesterday, I joined the National Honey Board and professional makeup artist and image consultant Mauricio Burgos for the Honey Your New Portable Beauty Secret Tea Party at Chado Tea Room.  I learned we should use raw honey moisturizer says The National Honey Board and Mauricio Burgos.

I drink tea several times a day and am obsessed with skincare, so attending this event was what I needed.

Mauricio has teamed up with The National Honey Board and they have come up Honey, Your New Portable Beauty Secret Campaign.  The National Honey Board is a federal research and promotion board under USDA oversight that conducts research, marketing and promotion programs to help maintain and expand markets for honey and honey products.  While juggling a busy schedule, Mauricio actively participates in this campaign.  I was most impressed with the fact that he creates his own recipes.  He does his attribute his knowledge of honey and skincare to his grandmother, he has learned some of his recipes from her, but he adds a modern twist.

The National Honey Board and Mauricio Burgos offer six different treatments to give your beauty regimen for 2013 and beyond an all-natural makeover.

I am a huge fan of moisturizer, but after attending this event I am going to try some of Mauricio’s  recipes.

I cannot fail to mention the wonderful and tasty teas and treats the Chado Tea Room provided.  We were served a selection of elegant, Mediterranean inspired teas. My favorite was the white tea with coconut and vanilla.  With the pairing of tea and a nice selection of sandwiches and desserts, I must say Chado Tea Room did an awesome job in their presentation and serving us decadent foods.
