School is back in session and I have learned that Scotch Duct Tape has inspired many children and teens to be creative, by using duct tape.
My soon to be 20 year old daughter, was excited to receive rolls of Scotch Duct Tape. She planned on using it for making projects with the children she tutors or babysits.
This is not knew to my family, because last year, my son began making duct tape projects at his after school camp on Friday’s. That is the free day for the camp to cook and do other projects. It all began when one of the camp counselors started make things with plain, grey duct tape. The kids loved it. My son first came home with a wallet and then more things Now he is jealous because he saw the selection of tape my daughter has. He tried convincing himself that the tape with the stars was for boys also.
The only creative side I have is using the tape on gifts, so I will not be making Scotch Duct Tape project anytime soon. On second thought, if I go get some tape for my son, we will work on some crafts together. I really like the book cover idea.
Recently, Scotch Duct Tape hosted a Back-to-School contest that asked teens to create an original back-to-school craft with duct tape and submit a photo that shows how they’re going back to school in style for a chance to win $1,000.
