The Stouffer’s Mac and Cheese Truck along with Chef Vendome made a special stop in Santa Monica last week.
Chef Vendome offered a variety of Mac N Cheese. This was not the mac and cheese I have ever made or tried. Chef Vendome was very creative. The menu included classic mac, pizza mac, buffalo chicken mac and Cuban mac.
I opted to try Buffalo Chicken Mac. Let’s just say I had two servings. I should have sampled the classic mac, but I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and try something different. Some people had four or more servings of the mac and cheese of their choice.
Chef Vendome was eager to feed the hungry guest. He made sure there was plenty to go around. I do not think I ever had to go to the truck to put in an order. By the time I was finished he was walking around with a tray trying to feed us all more mac and cheese. It was as if his main goal was to get us nice and full.
I did not want to eat too much. Yes, I am trying to loose a few pounds, but I was there for the screening of the new move Chef, that will be in theaters May 9th.
Before we went into the screening we had a surprise guest, Emjay Anthony, who is one of the stars of the movie.
As he approached the Stouffer’s Truck he was immediately handed a bowl of mac n cheese and dug right in. I love a kid that is a hearty eater.
After sampling the Stouffer’s Mac and Cheese we then saw the screening of Chef. It is an R rated film. It has been a while since I have seen an R rated film. Usually my son is seated beside me at a children’s film. Being a blogger, I enjoyed watching how the movie tapped into some of the processes of social media.
Don’t forget Chef will be in theaters May 9th and be on the look out for the Stouffer’s Mac and Cheese Truck in your city.
