When I received my Cinco De Mayo Las Palmas invitation I was thrilled! My family and I absolutely look forward to Cinco De Mayo. No… we are not Mexican American, but when I was a poor, college student, Cinco De Mayo was one holiday I knew I would be able to eat lots of food while I was away from home. I would go to Mexican restaurants and eat until I was full and enjoy all of the parties. It has now become tradition in my home to go out for Cinco De Mayo.
At this event we dined on the best four exclusive recipes prepared with the authentic Mexican sauces Las Palmas, cooked by renowned chef Vicente del Rio, owner of Frida Mexican Cusine and founder of the Taste of Mexico Association.
