Tofutti-Dairy Free Ice Cream- Latose Free Ice Cream
Happy 30th Anniversary Tofutti!!!
I am proud to say my family has been eating Tofutti Cutie ice cream sandwiches for about 15 years and love them!
Tofutti is currently celebrating their 30th anniversary and we have been celebrating with them by eating some of their delicious desserts!
I began purchasing Toffuti ice cream sandwiches, because my daughter has asthma and wanted to eat ice cream and could not do so, because of the dairy in ice cream. Anything dairy free would be a great alternative. Did you know, millions of people battle lactose related problems and Tofutti Brands has been here to help? After trying to find an alternative I discovered Tofutti Cuties while shopping at WholeFoods. Although, I began purchasing Cuties for my daughter, they became one of our favorite ice cream sandwiches. Now 15 years later my son eats them and loves them as well.
I have to share this story with you. On our last shopping trip for Tofutti, we were in Whole Foods Market. As we stood in the ice cream aisle, this little girl and her mom were passing by. The little girl began to say, “I want Cuties.” The mom told her, “No.” They went back and forth, which lead to the little girl whining, “I want Cuties…..” She did not get the Cuties. But, we witnessed how badly this little girl wanted Cuties. Cuties has that kind of affect on people. I am hoping she finally got her Cuties.
As we stood in the aisle I discovered Mint Chocolate Chip Cuties. I love Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. I tried it for the first time and I loved it. My son does not like chip ice cream, so I have the box all to myself.
Tofutti has other products, but our local stores do not carry them yet. I will be glad when the other products come to our stores, because I love eating foods that are lactose free and Tofutti has many dairy free alternatives.
